Le diagnostic de bloc sino-atrial (BSA) est toujours difficile  chez le chien en raison de l’existence d’une arythmie respiratoire marqu\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Tout comme pour les blocs atrioventriculaires, il existe 3 types de BSA.<\/p>\n

Le BSA-1<\/strong> n’est pas visible sur l’ECG et correspond \u00e0 un allongement du temps de conduction intra-atrial.<\/p>\n

Le BSA-2<\/strong>, celui qui nous concerne ici, est caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par une interruption compl\u00e8te et intermittente de la conduction intra-atriale.<\/p>\n

L’influx \u00e9lectrique est bien \u00e9mis par le n\u0153ud sinusal mais non transmis.<\/p>\n

Cela se traduit sur l’ECG par un intervalle RR long, dont la dur\u00e9e correspond \u00e0 un multiple de l’intervalle RR de base (ici: 2 fois).<\/p>\n

Le BSA-3<\/strong> correspond \u00e0 une interruption compl\u00e8te et prolong\u00e9e (voire permanente) de la conduction intra-atriale.<\/p>\n

Dans ce cas, un rythme d’\u00e9chappement, souvent jonctionnel, maintient l’animal en vie.<\/p>\n

Un bloc sino-atrial est un trouble de la conduction situ\u00e9 entre le noeud sinusal et l’oreillette.<\/p>\n

Pour porter un diagnostic de BSA, il faut pouvoir \u00e9liminer une pause sinusale \u00e0 l’origine d’un intervalle RR long mais qui ne serait pas un multiple de l’intervalle RR de base.<\/p>\n

Les blocs sino-atriaux sont donc  une forme de dysfonction sinusale.<\/p>\n
